experiences
Here are some experiences and events I took part
interactive architecture
MAGNAKIT ( aka RAPID-KINETIC) AT ERROR - 2018
Ars Electronica | Linz, Austria
The first version of Rapid Kinetic, called MagnaKit, has been exhibited in one of the most famous festival about arts and technologies: Ars Electronica. Hundreds of visitors have visited MagnaKit stand, getting intrigued by the toolkit and played with the first prototypes of robots and kinetic structures.

HALO - 2018
Kimchi and Chips | london, uk
Halo is a installations created by Kimchi and Chip studio, which consists of 99 robotic mirrors tracking the sun during the day and reflecting the sun rays in order to generate a halo of light, highlighted by a generated mist of water. The project, set in Somerset House, creates an image of the sun brought down to earth, formed with the intensity of 100 suns - the 99 reflections plus the sun itself directly.

DIGITAL FABRICATION
INTERLACE 0 - Robotically woven structure workshop - 2017
IAAC + Shukhov Lab + HSE | MOSCOW, RUSSIA
The workshop, led by Maria Kuptsova, Elena Mitrofanova and Ivan Mitrofanov with the advisory of Vicente Guallart, have been investigating new computational and fabrication strategies for production of advanced design solutions for the activation of the public space, implementing physical material research and form-finding strategies within digital design and fabrication methods. The final goal of the course has been the design and fabrication of an urban interactive element in 1:1 scale, which could be implemented in the public space of the city of Moscow.
digital fabrication
FabLab Napoli | naples, italy
The Fab Academy is a 6 months experience where students, in a huge worldwide network of Fablabs, learn rapid-prototyping using different types on techniques and tools. From fabrication through 3d printing, mould and casting, laser cutting, milling to producing and programming custom printed circuit boards.
digital fabrication
LAVA AXON - 2015
lava architecture | stuttgart, germany
Workshop aimed to the design and fabrication of a kinetic ceiling that improves the acoustic performance of multifunctional spaces by varying the amount of exposed absorbent and reflective surfaces. The design solution is a hanging ceiling of hexagonal aluminum panels with joints that enable freedom of movement. The kinetic sound trap ceiling was designed and installed as a kinetic prototype inside the multi-functional LAVA Stuttgart office.
